Merry Christmas Mum. I miss you. Today felt odd. I have been lighting candles for you and had your picture next to me while I had a bit of quiet time cooking the Christmas meal. I felt I could almost hear you chatting away, watching me while I cooked. My heart hopes that you are with Dad, Nan, Grandad and Frankie along with many others, getting lots of hugs, love and enjoying yourself now you don’t have any pain to contend with. Love you x

Pat. I hope you were among us during the funeral. I hope you saw how many of your lovely neighbours were there to see you drive past home. How many of them came to the crematorium and joined us all at your wake at your favourite pub the Plough where we went so many times. I hope you saw your friends from work and your children and cousins come to your funeral and the wake. I hope you finally realise how many people loved you and how much they loved you. Jenny and Kate did so well in getting everything organised. They did you proud. The horses were spectacular. We all loved you dearly and sometimes you could not see it. Take care.
